Before universities built there were some collages giving certificate level educations in 1870’s. Ceylon Medical School was giving a certificate level of education. As like that in 1875 Colombo of Law collage, 1884 School of Agriculture and in 1875 Technical Collages was built.
These are the universities that can make this beautiful country a wealthy Sri Lanka that the world will talk about. With the right education system and some great experience lecturer we can make this country a wealthy one. Fist every person should decide about which path suit is for him or her. I know some people are having deferent kind of degrees. That’s great but its better if those people stay in our country and do the service for their mother land. Some people as I know they graduate in Sri Lanka and immigrates to other countries to give their knowledge. That’s why our country is still a growing one. But even the government should be responsible for the things that happening. What if the once who are immigrating gets a good job with a reasonable salary, then they will surely share their knowledge with every human in this country? At last, I wish our county will become wealthiest country as soon as possible.
